Las Ruinas

Las Ruinas

We partnered with Las Ruinas to build a landing page made only for visitors coming from its ads, turning quick exits into people who stay, read, and book a day pass.

Las Ruinas Bathhouse & Gym is Puerto Rico’s first modern bathhouse, set in a restored 18th-century building in Old San Juan. It combines a gym with saunas, a steam room, cold plunges, and a saltwater pool.

Its ads were doing their job. Clicks are inexpensive in Puerto Rico, so plenty of people arrived. But fewer than 1 in 5 stayed on the main website past three seconds, and the ads team traced the drop-off to the site, not the campaigns.

We built a separate page for ad visitors only. It leads with booking a day pass, then shows ratings and reviews, the space, the day pass details, and memberships, in that order. It went live in the first week of June 2026, alongside the campaigns already running.

Cheap Clicks, Quick Exits

Ads were inexpensive to run in Puerto Rico, so plenty of people clicked through. Fewer than 1 in 5 stayed on the main website for more than three seconds.

A Site Made to Be Explored

The main website covers everything Las Ruinas offers, which is the right job for a main website. For someone arriving from an ad with one question in mind, that breadth put distance between the click and a booking.

What the Exits Cost

The ads team estimated that if only half of those visitors had stayed, the same two weeks would have produced about 160 purchases instead of 116, roughly 38% more.

One Job: Book a Day Pass

The page leads with the booking action, then moves through ratings and reviews, the space, the day pass details, and memberships, so each section answers the next question a visitor has before buying.

Visitors Stayed and Bought

Four out of five visitors stayed past three seconds, against about one in five on the main site. Those who stayed bought at nearly the same rate on both pages, so every extra visitor kept was a real chance to sell.

Campaigns Grew, Even in Slow Season

Revenue from the landing page campaigns doubled in two weeks and returned more than $4 for every $1 spent, so the ads team put more budget behind them. Across September, in the heart of slow season, the campaign returned $4.03 for every $1, against $3.10 for all Meta ads in the account that month.

The landing page set against the baseline it was built to beat.

The stay rate covers the two weeks to Jul 9, 2026, and the September return covers Sep 1 to 29, 2026. Also reported by the paid media team: visitors who stayed bought at nearly the same rate on both pages (two weeks to Jul 9), landing page campaign revenue doubled and returned more than 4x (two weeks to Aug 6), and the campaign returned 3.3x in its first week (to Jun 11) and 3.87x in the week to Sep 16. Source: Las Ruinas paid media reports, June to September 2026. Return on ad spend is the dollars of sales for every $1 spent on ads.

An ad can earn a click, but only the page behind it can earn a booking. For Las Ruinas, giving ad visitors one clear path into a restored 18th-century bathhouse meant fewer quick exits and more day passes.
